Check-in / Check-out
To earn reard points, performing check-in and check-out operations in necessary, Here are the steps to explain the procedure.
Open the GOLFIN GPS app
Open the check-in tab
Search and select the golf course for the round
Tap the "GO TO CHECK-IN" button
Tap the "CHECK-IN" button
Play a round of golf
Tap the "CHECK-OUT" button
The above are the procedures from check-in to check-out. After that, please wait for the points to be calculated and awarded.
Check-in requirements
To check in, the following requirements must be met.
Enable the GPS on the smartphone
Be within the check-in range of the golf course
Be within the golf course's operating hours
Check-in is limited to once per day
Check-out requirements
To check out, thw following requirements must be met.
Enable the GPS on the smartphone
Be currently checked in
Be within the check-out range of the golf course
Have not checked out at any point during the day
At least one hour must have passed since check-in
Reward Points Allocation
Daily at 1:00 AM, calculations for awarding reward points will be based on check-in and check-out records from the previous day for all users. During this process, checks for fraudulent activities will also be conducted, and reward points will only be granted if deemed appropriate. The criteria for detecting fraudulent activities are kept completely confidential for anti-fraud purposes.
Calculation of Reward Points Allocation
The total number of reward points awarded in one day is determined
The total points are divided equally among the number of golf courses checked out the previous day
The points allocated to each golf course determined in step 2 are evenly distributed among the users who checked out at that golf course
Since reward points are allocated based on the above calculation method, points will not be awarded at the time of real-time checkout but will be granted after the calculations are completed.
Therefore, checking out from a golf course where no one else has checked out allows for claiming all the reward points allocated to that golf course.
Notes and Others
The daily standard for check-in and check-out is based on Coordinated Universal Time (UTC)
If check-in is performed incorrectly, please check in again at the correct golf course without checking out. A confirmation will be displayed to discard the current check-in status, and upon agreement, it will be possible to re-check in at the correct golf course
In the case of a communication error, it is possible to resend check-in and check-out information within a certain period
