Tournament Mode

There are several types of tournaments held within the GOLFIN game app.

Tournament type

  1. E-Sports Tournament

  2. Game Tournament

E-Sports Tournament

These tournaments, sponsored by partner companies, offer prize money within the GOLFIN game app. Winners who rank highly in the tournament will receive prizes provided by the sponsors. The prize money can be received in US dollars or USDT (tokens).

These tournaments are held irregularly and are free to enter. The eSports events provide users with opportunities to earn money.

The first tournament will have a grand prize of $75,000 and a total prize pool of $738,000. The timing of the event is yet to be determined.

Game Tournament

Game tournaments are not eSports events; instead, top finishers will be awarded reward points. This tournament, like eSports tournaments, will be held within the game app.

In any tournament, players can challenge only once and cannot participate in the same tournament multiple times.

Tournament Progression

Tournaments are held over multiple days, with only the top scorers from each round advancing to the next round.

Tournaments feature various formats, including 3-hole, 6-hole, 9-hole, and 18-hole events. Rankings are determined solely by the scores achieved by the end of the specified number of holes.

Each tournament is held over Days 1 through 4, with each day requiring play to be completed within the day. If a round is not finished within the scheduled time, the player will be eliminated at that point.

Day1

All entrants will participate in the tournament.

Day2

Only the top performers from Day 1 will advance to participate in the subsequent rounds.

Day3

Day 3 is the semifinals round, and only the top performers from Day 2 will be eligible to participate.

Day4

The final round takes place here. Only the top performers from Day 3 will compete in this final round.

In the final round, if there are multiple players with the same rank beyond second place, only one player will be determined as the first-place winner.

If there are multiple players tied for first place, they will each play 9 holes the day after Day 4. The winner of the first hole will be declared the champion. If the results are tied after the first hole, the outcome of the second hole will determine the winner. If still tied, the third hole will be used to decide the champion.

Even if only 2 out of 9 holes are completed, a winner can be determined based on the results of the second hole. If the result is not decided after 2 holes, the player who did not complete the third hole will be considered retired.

If the winner is still not determined

TBD

Tournament reward distribution

The distribution of rewards will begin the day after the tournament ends, following the aggregation of results. For eSports tournaments, the distribution schedule is determined by the sponsoring companies.
